Conversations with FTGI – Ep. 6

S I L E N C E!

Silence can be deafening. Especially when you are in a time of waiting for what’s next. It is hard to take the time to get quiet, but it is even harder to hear God speak above the noise and chaos of life.

Make time for silence.

Sit with it. Push past the discomfort.

Lean in and listen.

Take time to close your eyes, forget what lies behind and see with your mind’s eye what lies ahead. You may feel like you are in a wasteland – a dry and dusty place but if you listen close you will hear the babbling sound of the stream. God is making a way for you in the wilderness.

Listen in to hear what Isaiah 43:18-19 meant to Cynda in a time of transition. God is always doing a new thing in your life. He is always moving you forward even when it feels like you are at a standstill.
