Conversations with FTGI – Ep. 5

There are moments in life that knock the wind out of us. It’s those times that we need the hope of heaven and the promises of God to hold onto. In this conversation, I share about one such time in my own life when I needed to hear from God in a very personal way and He showed up!

My prayerful hope is that the video this week will help anyone struggling with a seemingly hopeless situation. When the typical clichés and platitudes are not working to answer your heart’s deepest hurts, the scriptures are full of life-giving truths that will refresh your soul and give you hope for the day. It is what has sustained me through life’s most difficult moments.

I’m so grateful for each one of you who is connected to For the Girls International. Having a tribe of women who supports each other through the ups and downs of life is one of those things that actually takes my breath away in the best of ways!

We would love to invite you to join us for our upcoming Better Together Night. Whether you are on the mountaintop or in a valley there will be an inspiring message for you by Cynda Harris and being in the company of such a wonderful bunch of ladies is refreshing in itself!

Come join us for a night where we can all breathe deep the goodness of God and be encouraged for the next leg of our journey.

Hope to see you there!

FTGI, Co-Founder

God doesn’t come and go. God lasts.

He’s Creator of all you can see or imagine.

He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch his breath.

And He knows everything, inside and out.

He energizes those who get tired,

gives fresh strength to dropouts.

For even young people tire and drop out,

young folk in their prime stumble and fall.

But those who wait upon God get fresh strength.

They spread their wings and soar like eagles,

They run and don’t get tired,

they walk and don’t lag behind.

-Isaiah 40: 27-31 (MSG)
